Here at First Church of Lombard, we work hard to provide quality programs for all children, all year long. We believe that faith can be formed through fun and we work hard to engage kids with crafts, games, Bible stories and more to help children learn how to show love in all they do.

Children’s Programs

Children in preschool though 5th grade begin worship with their families each Sunday at 10:15 and are dismissed to Sunday school. A teacher will be on-hand to guide them to their class. Each week we will incorporate a variety of teaching activities like crafts, art projects, cooking classes and more, then ending with a music class. Sunday school students should be picked up by their parent or other responsible adult at 11:30 am at the resource Room (on the lower level).

For parents who need a quiet, calm place to go with smaller children, the Nursery is available across from the main office. The audio of the service, as well as activities for infants and toddlers, are accessible, but the room is not staffed.
